Abigail Fowler trained in interior design, then communication at the Angers School of Art. During her studies, she collaborated with the dancers of Angers CNDC (National Centre of Contemporary Dance) as a plastic artist. She then decided to train in stage lighting with lighting designers George Portelli and Caty Olive. After graduating with a DNSEP (*superior national diploma in plastic arts), she began working as a lighting manager for David Wampach, Eléonore Didier, Fanny de Chaillé, Fred Deslias, Gaëlle Bourges, Philippe Quesne and Erika Zueneli. She was also reception manager at the “Ménagerie de Verre” for the « The Unaccustomed » and « Strange Cargo » festivals. She collaborated as a lighting designer on dance pieces and contemporary theatre, notably with Gaëlle Bourges (The Lock, Un beau raté, To My Only Desire, 59, Lascaux, Seeing Lascaux Again, Forehead Against Forehead, Warding Off Fear, What You See…) Mickaël Phelippeau, Vincent Thomasset, Christophe Ives & Cédric Andrieux, Eléonore Didier, Eric Sadin, Johann Maheut, Madeleine Fournier & Jonas Chéreau.
