As a choreographic artist with prolific experience in dance and circus acquired through his training at the Annie Fratellini National School for Circus Arts where he obtained his diploma, Camille Gerbeau decided to resume his choreographic studies and worked with numerous contemporary dance companies. After his initial training, he graduated in 2003 as a contemporary dance teacher. He participated in workshops and “lab-work” with several choreographers: Ph. Trehet, X. Lot, P. Ansot, F. Dugier, B. Dizien, E. Gallier, N. Dipla, C. Trouillas, G. Gréau, J. Hidalgo, H. Robbe, P. Décina and J. Leighton. He taught dance and directed several choreographic research workshops for approximately 10 years and danced for several choreographers: Pascale Ansot, Emilie Gallier, Karine Saporta, Agnès Butet, Luigia Riva, Gaëlle Bourges, Willi Dorner, Cindy Van Acker, Romeo Castellucci…
In 2006, he created EXITprod as choreographer for the pieces He Joe, Fragment(s), The Square, “Ou stupeur du corps étranger”, Snow, “Comme l’homme coule de tes veines” … In 2008, he led the project Dance and Architecture for the city of Cherbourg. In 2009, he joined the collective “Without You Or Almost”, led by Agnès Butet and participated in the projects OdS bounce, Other Families, Set The Fireflies Free, Strange Delight-  2 based on « Fences » … Furthermore, in 2012 he began training at the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, where he studied the rating of the Laban movement. After graduating, he continued working on the study of space with the project “Icosaèdre”.

Camille Gerbeau is co-founder of Regards Dansants / Festival of Choreographic Contemporary Art in Cotentin, within which framework he created Post Autopsy of Game Over (2016); Collective and Massive Movement of Revol, participatory pieces fo 20 amateur performers (2017). In 2014, he began collaborating with Gaëlle Bourges, participating in the work To My Only Desire and subsequently dances in 59, Warding Off Fear and What You See.
