LAURE & VICTORINE
LAURE & VICTORINE will re-trace the path of two women who posed for Édouard Manet’s provocative 1865 painting “Olympia” – two women who have vanished from the radar of art history, just like so many others who worked in or around the art world in the mid-19th century. It will offer an opportunity to see and hear a body of works created by female artists (painters, actresses, circus performers, writers, etc.).
