STRIP

Invited for the Nuit Blanche 2007, Gaëlle Bourges suggested that two of her erotic theatre colleagues strip in the rue Saint-Denis, in Paris. An experience of being « dislodged»: as much for the strippers as for the public, because the performance was played out in an inadequate place for their activity – telephone boxes (that no longer exist today) like (little) striptease boxes. A fourth bearded female performer read Michel Foucault, Gail Pherterson and Pat Califia intermittently.
