Carla Bottiglieri trained in classical and contemporary dance in Italy, and has lived in France since 1998. She studied various body and vocal techniques, and in 2003 undertook training in Body-Mind Centering, for which she obtained the "Educateur au développement moteur du nourrisson" certificate, and the BMC® practitioner diploma. A dancer with European choreographers and directors (Lucia Latour, Michele Di Stefano, Claudia Castellucci, Kinkaleri, Jools Gilson-Ellis, Marika Rizzi, Eve Girardot), she also regularly assists in creative processes in dance and theater. Her first choreographic work, Ortensia-3 Etudeswas the winner of the Terrains Fertiles 2005 project/Programme d'accompagnement à la création chorégraphique. She is currently preparing a doctorate at the Université Paris VIII - Département Danse on somatic methods and their impact on the world of healthcare.

Under the impetus of Carla Bottiglieri, the association Os was created in 2005, with Monia Bazzani and Gaëlle Bourges.
