Erwan Keravec is a Scottish piper with an eclectic background. From traditional couplets with Guénolé Keravec to free improvisation with Beñat Achiary, Jean-Luc Cappozzo, l'Arfi and Camel Zékri, he composes, plays and improvises for contemporary dance with Boris Charmatz, Daniel Linehan, Gaëlle Bourges (Groupe Raoul Batz, then association Os), Cécile Borne, Mickaël Phelippeau, Emmanuelle Huynh... He is the dedicatee of works by Bernard Cavanna, Philippe Leroux, François Rossé, Benjamin de la Fuente, and Susumu Yoshida; he has also created with Sébastien Béranger, Xavier Garcia, Zad Moultaka. He is working on a bagpipe/voice program with Oscar Bianchi and Oscar Strasnoy. He leads Urban Pipes, a project presenting his work as an improviser and composer, mixing solo and duo with Beñat Achiary, Guénolé Keravec, Alain Mahé.
