Julie Vuoso 's multi-faceted artistic career (performance, acting, directing, plastic installation) reflects her desire to mix media and their boundaries, to question individual and collective identity, to experiment with multi-partner creation, and to (re)create links between art and society. Interweaving her academic and professional careers, Julie Vuoso graduated from Montpellier's Paul Valéry University with a Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts in 2010, followed by a Master's degree in Theatre Studies in 2014.
Between 2010 and 2016, she directed an international collective creation, created the street arts festival "Regarde sous tes fenêtres"; and acted in several collective projects. In 2015, she worked with Thierry Bédard, compagnie Notoire, as assistant director and around several cultural actions. Since 2016, Julie has joined the Os / Gaëlle Bourges association, where she performs (song & dance) in the shows for all audiences - The bath and LAURA's Gang - still on tour. Between 2017 and 2020, she also collaborated with the choreographer on three documentary films, made with Claire Ananos, about the town of Château-Thierry.
Julie Vuoso is also continuing her training. Since 2020, she has been collaborating with musician Beloey on a musical album project ; and since 2022, she has been working on the choreographic creation project "De 1964 à 2014", based on a notebook recounting an illegal abortion in 1964 (creation planned for 2025). Julie Vuoso has received support from Ateliers Médicis as part of the Transat festival at MJC d'Uzés and from Atelier de Paris /CDCN. She also runs a number of workshops for different audiences - schools, prisons, associations, etc. - offering practical artistic and artistic workshops. - offering workshops in artistic practice and collective creations.
