Maureen Sizun Vom Dorp began her artistic career at an early age, starting with dance and drawing. She decided to study photography for four years, where she developed her taste for sculpting light in the studio, particularly for chamber portraits. Initially working as a volunteer for concert halls, she began to work more and more frequently on stage. She then joined the CFPTS in Paris, as well as the Théâtre du Rond-Point, where she trained in the arts and techniques of show business for two years. On the strength of this experience, she became lighting director for the Théâtre du Soleil - Ariane Mnouchkine, La Gaîté Lyrique, L'Atelier de Paris - Carolyn Carlson, Les Chicos Mambos - La Feuille d'Automne, and the association Os / Gaëlle Bourges. She went on to assist lighting designers such as Dominique Mabileau, Pascal Lajilil and Elsa Revol, notably for her new magic creations for the 14:20 company.
In 2019, she began creating contemporary choreographic works for Compagnie Xuan LE, Compagnie Myxomycète - Mathilde Rance, and Compagnie Superfamille, touring these pieces in Vietnam, Finland and Italy. In 2023, she will be responsible for the lighting design for AUSTERLITZ.
