After completing her schooling, which included learning the violin (CHAM class from 2001 to 2009) and a master's degree in philosophy at the University of Nanterre Paris-Ouest, during which she took a particular interest in political and social philosophy, sociology, and ethics, Melody Shanty Mahe trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette between 2021 and 2024 (13th graduating class).
In 2024-2025, she joined the young troupe of the Centre Dramatique National de Dijon as a performer (acting and music) for the show Trust Me For a While, directed by Yngvild Aspeli (Cie Plexus Polaire). She also performs for various directors such as Narguess Majd (Cie Papier théâtre), Mbembo Nzunga (Cie Bulle d'osier), Guillaume Lecamus (Cie Morbus) and Raphaël Dupuy, and works as a musician (composition and/or performance) on various projects.
Learning his craft gives him the opportunity, day after day, to question the different languages that can produce meaning on stage, between writing, music, body, and object.
