Erwan Keravec is a Scottish bagpiper with an eclectic track-record. From traditional work with Guénolé Keravec to free improvisation with Beñat Achiary, Jean-Luc Cappozzo, l’Arfi and Camel Zékri, he composed, performed and improvised for the contemporary dance of Boris Charmatz, Daniel Linehan, Gaëlle Bourges (Groupe Raoul Batz, puis association Os), Cécile Borne, Mickaël Phelippeau and Emmanuelle Huynh… He is the dedicatee of works by Bernard Cavanna, Philippe Leroux, François Rossé, Benjamin de la Fuente and Susumu Yoshida; he has also created with Sébastien Béranger, Xavier Garcia and Zad Moultaka. He worked on a bagpipe/voice programme with Oscar Bianchi and Oscar Strasnoy and led the Urban Pipes project, presenting his work as an improviser and composer, combining solos and duets with Beñat Achiary, Guénolé Keravec and Alain Mahé.
