LAURE & VICTORINE will follow in the footsteps of the two women who posed for Édouard Manet's painting "Olympia", which caused a scandal in 1865 - women who have disappeared from the radar of art history, like so many others who worked in or near art in the ^mid-19th century: an opportunity to see and hear a body of work by women artists (painters, actors, circus performers, writers, etc.).
