STRIP

Invited to perform at Nuit Blanche 2007, Gaëlle Bourges invited two of her erotic theater colleagues to stripe in Paris's Rue Saint-Denis. It was an experience of "dislocation": for the strippers as much as for the audience, since the performance took place in a place unsuited to their activity - telephone booths (which no longer exist) as (small) strip tease boxes. A fourth bearded performer intermittently read Michel Foucault, Gail Pherterson and Pat Califia.
