William & Harold
While we wait for the Netflix series that will bring to life the epic story depicted in the Bayeux Tapestry—a BBC series has already been released!—here’s a miniseries titled William & Harold, which follows the story of the invasion of England by a certain William, Duke of Normandy. It ends well and then badly, or badly and then well: it all depends on which perspective (English or French) you take. Unless it just ends badly for everyone, period. In any case, the tapestry will be on display at the British Museum between September 2026 and June 2027: our English friends will be able to settle the matter in their own way.
