22 beavers brow to brow is a three-part, non-intermission portrait of a generation of twentysomethings trying to build community on stage. But "making community" is no easy task, and from the Middle Ages to the future, no form of grouping is permanent. That's what this evening proposes: changing forms of grouping. In chronological order for the presentation, but in no particular order on stage: the 11th century, with Brow to brow by Gaëlle Bourges; the present, with 22 by Mickaël Phelippeau; and science fiction, with Beavers (since it's all over) by Marlène Saldana & Jonathan Drillet. An evening in three movements, each lasting around 30 minutes, showing how these young dancers are experimenting with the possibility of standing together.
