The little baths, LAURA's little gangs and Little Lascaux are workshops associated with Gaëlle Bourges' plays for the general public: The bath, LAURA’ s Gang and Seeing Lascaux again. These short performances, to be created with children or young people - and accompanied by one or more of the show's performers - are offered to partner venues wishing to introduce young spectators to art history, in partnership with schools.
Through a multiplicity of approaches - critical, plastic and somatic - the association Os invites young people to discover a part of the history of Western painting, while learning about the critical approach at work in the shows. They are then invited to create their own version of the play, using flowers, tree branches, animal masks and other props created with the team's plastic artist.
Since the creation of The bath in January 2018, the Os association has presented Little bath at l'Onde Théâtre - Centre d'Art (Vélizy) ; at Bateau Feu - scène nationale (Dunkerque) ; at Trident - scène nationale (Cherbourg) ; at Tangram - scène nationale (Évreux) ; at Maison CDCN (Uzès) ; at Manège - scène nationale (Reims) ; at Théâtre Gérard philipe - TGP - Saint-Denis ; at La Soufflerie - Scène conventionnée de Rezé, etc.
A first LAURA's little gangs was produced with the T2G Théâtre de Gennevilliers - Centre Dramatique National in 2021-2022.
A Little Lascaux has been designed for 2022 with La Coursive Scène nationale La Rochelle; a second tour will be carried out in 2022-2023 with Scène nationale du Sud-Aquitain.
